Event sound system hire - pub gigs, outdoor events, festivals, live gigs, concerts and speaker hire.
Our sound systems are designed to the highest possible specifications. Included in our systems you will find feedback extermination, compressors, limiters, reverb and vocal effect units. We are able to supply equipment to cover whichever role you need be it a recording session, pub gig or full-blown outdoor concert. Our preferred pa systems are based around HK audio although we regularly supply JBL and Deltec for festival size gigs and discos respectively.
Pro audio hire
Pro Event Solutions can supply anything from a disco package up to a concert system with a sound engineer and crew. Packages can include all amplifiers, speakers, playback, microphones, headphones, monitors, mixing desk, cables, and fx units. We can also supply anything from a single microphone on a dry hire basis.
All of our systems are completely modular and can be adapted to suit every need. Why not take a look at our photo archives for examples of previous events or call and ask us direct, we will be more than happy to help.
Loudspeaker
A unit designed to reproduce sound, these are available in different sizes and power outputs. We generally hire speakers in pairs and upwards with all amplifiers and necessary cables.
Stage monitor
This too is a speaker but designed with an angle within the cabnet frame so that when placed on the stage it can direct the sound from stage level to the artist. Artists can then choose which sounds they would like to hear for instance a lead guitar player may want to hear more drums and lead vocals than anything else. Stage monitors, in ear monitors and general infill can all be supplied.
Amplifier
This piece of kit takes an audio signal from a source such as a mixer or cd player and increases the power so it can be heard through the speakers. All of our amplifiers are sent out pat tested and flight-cased.
Mixer
If you have several sources i.e. guitars, drums, bass, keyboard and vocals for everyone to hear a mixer is the ideal unit to take all of those sounds and mix them down into a stereo output for the amplifiers. Also with a mixer it can have a very versatile output section to give control over front of house speakers, stage monitors and fx units. Pro Event Solutions can supply mixers for all needs from dj & turntables to concert and festival sized gigs.
Microphone
A microphone will convert sound into an electrical signal so it can be amplified and heard through the speakers. There are many types of microphone available for specific instruments and applications. With over 60 different types of mic available we feel we can cover your every need.
Compressor/limiter
These have several uses most common is to limit audio signals for example a bass drum can be very loud you can set a compressor/limiter to set a maximum volume.
Reverb
This is an effects unit that can be used to add depth to vocals, many singers wouldn't perform without it. It can make somebody in a cupboard sound like they are in a concert hall.
FX
An abbreviation of effects such as reverb (see above) or distortion as used by rock and metal guitarists. An effect is basically changing an audio signal to give a different sound. To give an example, an effect unit could make your voice sound like a Dalek (DR Who).
Playback
Playback covers anything you would use to play any kind of recorded media. Some examples are CD (compact disc), MD (mini disc), Tape (audio cassette), DAT (digital audio tape) and DCC (digital compact cassette).
